For the architecture project I took photos of various differerent buildings and houses around town. There are photos of both old and newer buildings and houses.
Here is a picture of an older house/ building a few blocks from the school. I chose this photo because of the way the doorway is busted and the plants that have grown along the side of the structure. This makes it appear abandoned and old.
This is a picture of a once hung letters above storage doors along the front of the school. The way the rust shows where the letters were once placed makes for an interesting old photo.
Here is an old garage and possibly a shed along 7th Ave. The way the wood and siding of the garage and shed along with the rusted door really show the time that these have endured.
This is a gravestone shaped like a tree at the cemetery. I took this picture because of the unique design and how the backside has coloring to imitate a tree trunk.
Along 7th Ave coming down from the hill this house sits. I choose this house because it shows no signs of wear or damage anywhere.
Here is a house near the school. I took this photo because has characteristics of both old and new. It has a newer style and the wood siding is worn which gives it a some what old appearance.
Here is another gravestone at the cemetery. The moss that has grown upon it along indents from years of seasonal damage are perfect reasons to take a photo of it.
This is some sort of storage structure on the side of the front entrance of the school. I took this photo because of its interesting shape and design.
This is a equipment shed for the cemetery. It is pretty new as it has few signs of wear or age.
Here is a garage across from the park by the highschool. The aged wood on the left side shows weather damage from past winters.
